Airzone assisted the owner of a multi-tenant commercial plaza who had received odour complaints from one tenant regarding the adjacent unit. The suspected unit was renovating their space and was in the midst of refinishing wood flooring using an oil-based lacquer. The product had a strong odour and although doors were opened to provide ventilation, the odours migrated into the adjacent unit. The neighbouring tenant issued a complaint to the landlord that they were being negatively impacted by the odour and requested it to be evaluated and mitigated.
Airzone responded within 1-2 of hours and deployed VOC samples inside two of the units. Results were obtained within a few days and the client was notified with the preliminary results. A final written report with our recommendations followed a few days later.
