Dispersion models are an important tool for air quality management. Airzone One uses regulatory models and designs specialized dispersion models to meet your regulatory and environmental needs. In addition to developing our own models, we also provide routine modelling services. A typical step-by-step process that we use is outlined below (click each step for more information).
Step 1.
After an initial consultation with your company representative, we will determine relevant emission-producing processes.
Step 2.
Determine what chemicals are being used, and the amount of chemicals being used.
Step 3.
Choose the appropriate model for the facility and input the parameters. Additionally determine the meteorological set to be used.
Step 4.
Run the model under different meteorological and pollution production conditions.
Step 5.
Model output can then be superimposed on topographical maps to assist in the interpretation of environmental effects.
