on January 1st ?2010 the city of Toronto reporting bylaw was introduced, and requires facilities within the city ?to track and report on environmental emissions of 24 priority substances. ? This bylaw will be phased-in with tracking required now for facilities involved in food, beverage and tobacco manufacturing, printing and publishing, chemical manufacturing, wood industries, power generation and water and waste water treatment. ? Reporting thresholds to satisfy this bylaw are much lower than those for NPRI.
