Monitoring Network Purpose: to establish a monitoring network for atmospheric deposition of nutrients to the African Great Lakes. Draft network manual produced in 2006. In development of manual we carried out a review of other monitoring networks located in Africa and other worldwide monitoring networks measuring atmospheric deposition.
Sampling protocols/siting criteria: based on Global Atmospheric Watch (WMO), CAPMoN, and US EPA NADP siting criteria adapted to suit the study in question.
Data management/flow: managed via a centralized database which would be publically available (e.g., via internet).
