CAPMON(Canadian Acid Precipitation Monitoring Network)

Year:starting in 1982

Monitoring Network Purpose: assist in quantifying acid rain problem and ozone problem.

Substances monitored: acidic species and ozone.

Sampling protocols/siting criteria basis: developed as part of this project. Sampling sites were selected and instrumentation and integrative sampling equipment were deployed as part of this network.

Data management/flow: Currently Environment Canada provides QA/QCd databases to government researchers to ascertain effects and set environmental policy.
