    Representative Projects
Following are a few of the indoor air quality projects conducted by AirZOne staff. For more information about AirZOne, please call us.
  • Industrial Hygiene and Air Monitoring: AirZOne has preferred supplier agreements with high technology firms which encompass air quality and industrial hygiene services. Services include measurements of thermal comfort parameters, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulate, formaldehyde, total volatile organic hydrocarbons, and ozone. Noise measurements and radiation assessments are also included.

Our staff is well trained in sampling to ensure collection of high quality indoor air data.

  •
  • School Boards: Indoor air quality problems produce an unfavourable learning environment for children and reduce productivity of teachers and staff due to discomfort, sickness and absenteeism. AirZOne has conducted many air quality audits for school boards including sampling for biological agents (moulds, spores and fungi).
  •
  • Personal exposure: Unique studies on personal exposure levels related to diesel and ethanol bus emissions were completed in, Winnipeg, Medicine Hat, Windsor and Toronto in Canada and in Stockholm in Sweden. Breathing zones of subjects (drivers, mechanics, passengers and by-standers) were monitored as they rode buses for up to nine hours. AirZOne's expertise in measuring and evaluating human exposure to potentially hazardous airborne pollutants is used in many other projects.
  •
  • Fungal contamination: Airborne fungal spores can cause symptoms of toxicity and allergenicity. AirZOne has investigated such problems in downtown Toronto office buildings for possible fungal sources of an odor and allergy problems using state-of-the-art airborne sampling protocols.
