An assessment was conducted of asbestos-containing materials in a large, occupied client building. The locations and types of asbestos were specified. Remedial measures were recommended. The detailed asbestos assessment was followed by preparation of tender documents and asbestos specifications, bid meetings, supervision and sampling for the removal of asbestos-containing materials. Assistance and advice were provided during contract tendering. Supervision and inspection of contractor performance was done throughout the approximate two-year period of remedial activities.

A unique aspect of this project/location was its political sensitivity, as a result, during the life of the project, several related health and safety concerns of building occupants were also managed.
